BELGRADE, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Serbia's exports of information and communication technology (ICT) service reached 3.51 billion U.S. dollars in the first 10 months of 2024, marking a 20 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) reported on Wednesday.
In October alone, ICT service exports amounted to 393.3 million U.S. dollars, reflecting a notable 30 percent year-on-year growth.
The ICT sector also achieved a trade surplus of 2.75 billion U.S. dollars during the first ten months of 2024, underscoring its growing significance as a key contributor to Serbia's economy.
This data highlights the continued expansion of Serbia's ICT industry, which has been a major driver of export growth in recent years, according to the bank. Enditem
