TUNIS, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy Fatma Thabet Chiboub met Wednesday here with her visiting Palestinian counterpart Arafat Asfour to discuss bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, the two ministers praised the deep-rooted ties between Tunisia and Palestine, according to a statement released by the Tunisian Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy.
The statement said the meeting provided an opportunity to build cooperation relations between the two countries, particularly in sectors including agri-food and trade.
During the talks, the Tunisian minister highlighted the advantages and diversification of her country's industries, expressing Tunisia's willingness to establish cooperation and networking with the Palestinian side in various sectors.
For his part, Asfour indicated that his country aims to establish a strategic partnership with Tunisia, with a view to developing joint projects in the future. Enditem
