BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- A total of 1,000 kilograms of garbage was collected during the National Cleaning Campaign 2024 in Brunei, local media reported on Thursday.
According to the local daily, the Borneo Bulletin, the campaign was organized by Brunei's Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications on Wednesday. Over 300 participants joined the event at Tamoi Village in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital city of Brunei.
The campaign aimed to support the efforts of the Executive Committee on Cleanliness Issues (JIIK) by raising public awareness about cleanliness and environmental preservation, according to the media report.
