Brunei youth camp inspires young generation

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Approximately 40 youths aged between 12 and 15 completed their participation in the Youth Caliph Camp 2024 at the Islamic Da'wah Center of Brunei, local media reported on Friday.

According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the four-day, three-night program, themed "Reach For The STAR," aimed to unlock the participants' self-potential, cultivate essential leadership skills, and foster positive attributes such as responsibility, competitiveness, and solidarity.

The program sought to develop strong leadership characteristics and provide a platform for youths to engage in positive and beneficial activities, the reports said.

Brunei is a Sultanate in Southeast Asia with a population of 340,000 citizens. Brunei places great importance on the education and mental health of its younger generation. Enditem
