BUDAPEST -- Ending the conflict in Ukraine is of primary economic interest for Europe, a sentiment shared by European leaders, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said during his regular Friday morning interview on Hungarian public radio.

MAPUTO -- Mozambique started Friday a two-day national mourning in honor of the victims of Cyclone Chido, which hit the country's northern provinces last weekend, leaving at least 73 people killed, more than 540 injured, and a trail of destruction.

ISLAMABAD -- Foreign exchange reserves of the State Bank of Pakistan have increased by 31 million U.S. dollars, the central bank said in a statement on Thursday.

JUBA -- The UN refugee agency along with 48 partners will require 468 million U.S. dollars to support refugees and host communities in South Sudan in 2025, the agency said on Friday.
