SEOUL -- Three civilian workers were injured as an explosion accident occurred at a military unit in southeast South Korea, multiple media outlets said Monday.

SEOUL -- South Korea's constitutional court said Monday that it will hold the first pretrial hearing over President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment on Friday as scheduled.

TOKYO -- Japanese automakers Honda Motor and Nissan Motor announced Monday they have agreed to begin talks on a merger that would establish a new holding company by around August 2026, as the global auto industry's competition in electrification and software integration intensifies.

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia has seen a 54.5 percent surge in the number of Chinese tourists during the first 11 months of 2024, said a Cambodian Ministry of Tourism's report released on Monday.
