NEW YORK, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Near East Coast of Honshu, Japan at 19:10:06 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 55.3 km, was initially determined to be at 37.37 degrees north latitude and 141.64 degrees east longitude. Enditem
