ALGIERS, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Sunday reaffirmed his administration's commitment to combating corruption, and pledged to launch a national dialogue to address internal challenges.
"We have implemented significant reforms in the justice sector to restore citizens' confidence in the state, ensure the separation of money from politics, and relentlessly combat corruption," Tebboune said while addressing both chambers of parliament in Algiers.
The president also announced plans for a national political dialogue aimed at addressing Algeria's internal challenges and strengthening fundamental rights.
"This dialogue will be deep, inclusive, and far from repetitive rhetoric," Tebboune stated, assuring that the dialogue would be conducted in an organized and transparent manner, with the goal of fostering unity and strengthening Algeria's internal front. Enditem
