ISLAMABAD, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- At least six people were killed and 15 others injured in a road accident in Pakistan's southern Sindh province on Monday morning, police said.
The accident occurred on the National Highway in the Naushahro Feroze district, where a trailer and a passenger van collided, police said.
The victims were returning to Nawabshah district of the province from a wedding ceremony when the collision took place, police added.
Rescue teams reached the site following the incident and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched.
