DAMASCUS -- Syria's new administration gained full control of multiple border crossings in northern Aleppo province on Saturday, following a meeting between its General Authority for Land and Sea Ports and a Turkish delegation, state-run SANA news agency reported.

The meeting addressed the transfer of four key crossings -- Jarabulus, al-Rai, Bab al-Salama, and al-Hammam -- to the new administration, SANA quoted Mazen Aloush, director of relations of the General Authority, as saying. (Syria-New Administration)

KHARTOUM -- At least eight civilians were killed and 53 others injured in artillery shelling by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the Sudanese capital Khartoum and El Fasher city in western Sudan's North Darfur State.

"The RSF militia on Saturday continued its systematic shelling against civilians in Karari locality in Omdurman city, north of Khartoum, and Sharq Alneel (East Nile) locality, east of Khartoum, killing 4 civilians and injuring 43 others," Khartoum State's Health Ministry said in a statement. GAZA -- The Hamas-run Gaza media office said on Saturday evening that the Israeli army carried out 94 airstrikes and shelling on the Gaza Strip over the past 72 hours, killing 184 people.

In its statement, the office described the escalation as "dangerous and brutal," targeting unarmed civilians and residential areas, particularly in Gaza City. (Gaza-Israeli Airstrike)

TRIPOLI -- The West Coast Military Zone of the Libyan Defense Ministry said Saturday it launched a large-scale anti-crime military operation in the area.
