KHARTOUM -- At least 10 people were killed and 30 others injured on Sunday in an airstrike that targeted an area south of the Sudanese capital Khartoum, a volunteer group and local media reported.
"Ten people were killed and 30 others injured, including five cases of first-degree burns, after an airstrike targeted the Al-Sahrij station in the Mayo neighborhood, south of Khartoum," the South Khartoum Emergency Room, a local volunteer group, said in a statement. (Sudan-Attacks-Killings)

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said on Sunday that Hamas has not provided a name list of Israeli hostages to be released.
"Hamas has not transferred a name list of (Israeli) hostages so far," Netanyahu's office said in a statement, denying previous media reports, which, citing a Hamas official, said the group agreed to release 34 hostages. (Israel-Hamas-Hostage list)

VIENNA -- Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen said Sunday that he would meet the Freedom Party' leader Herbert Kickl on Monday to discuss the formation of a new government while the conservative People's Party softened its stance, saying it is now open to talks with the far-right party.
The move came after the collapse of three-party coalition talks among the People's Party, the Social Democratic Party and the NEOS party and later the failure of two-party negotiations following the NEOS' withdrawal. (Austria-Government-Election)

ISTANBUL -- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Sunday that Türkiye has been "actively" urging the international community to support Syria's reconstruction efforts.
Speaking at a meeting in Nigde province located in the Anatolian region, Fidan highlighted Türkiye's ongoing efforts to lift sanctions on Syria and assist the country in rebuilding infrastructure.
