SINGAPORE, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said on Monday it had arrested four Singaporean citizens for allegedly concealing drugs valued at over 1 million Singapore dollars (about 730,000 U.S. dollars).

The seized drugs "could potentially feed the addiction of about 4,590 drug abusers for a week," according to a CNB report.

The suspects -- three men and one woman, all in their 20s -- were apprehended on Saturday afternoon in eastern Singapore.

"For those who choose not to heed our warnings, the CNB will relentlessly pursue them and bring them to justice," said Aaron Tang, CNB's director of intelligence.

Investigations into the suspects' drug-related activities are ongoing. (1 Singapore dollar equals 0.73 U.S. dollar) Enditem
