AMMAN, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) announced on Monday that it had sent a new aid convoy to Syria.

The convoy, delivered to the Syrian Red Crescent at the Jaber Border Center, is among a series of aid convoys that Jordan plans to send to Syria. The cargo includes about 300 tons of food and relief supplies, according to the JHCO.
