ISLAMABAD, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- A recent survey revealed on Monday that the majority of Pakistanis are optimistic about 2025, believing the new year will be better than 2024.

The annual End of Year Survey conducted by Gallup International Association highlighted a positive outlook among Pakistanis, despite ongoing economic and social challenges.

According to the report, 51 percent of the respondents anticipate 2025 as a better year, compared to 26 percent who feared a decline, and 11 percent who expected no change. This marks an improvement in optimism compared to last year, when only 41 percent believed 2024 would be better than 2023.

The report added that 46 percent of the respondents are hopeful about economic prosperity in 2025 and 30 percent foresee economic difficulties. It has indicated a gradual shift towards confidence in the country's economic trajectory. Enditem
