Belarusian gold, foreign currency reserves amount to 8.92 bln USD

MINSK, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian gold and foreign currency reserves amounted to 8.92 billion U.S. dollars as of Jan. 1, the country's central bank said on Wednesday.

According to preliminary data, gold and foreign currency reserves increased by 127.7 million dollars, or 1.45 percent, in December 2024, the regulator said.

Assets in foreign currency and monetary gold occupied Belarus's largest share of international reserve assets. Enditem
