CANBERRA -- Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese reiterated social media's social responsibility on Wednesday following Meta's announcement to abandon its fact-checking program.

BANGKOK -- A Chinese citizen surnamed Wang has been successfully rescued, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand said on Tuesday.

SEOUL -- South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol will comply with an indictment or preliminary detention warrant, Yoon's defense counsel said Wednesday following the extension of the arrest warrant against the impeached president on the previous day.
