KIEV -- At least 13 people were killed and 63 others injured on Wednesday in a Russian strike on Ukraine's southern city of Zaporizhzhia, according to a statement by Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office.

LOS ANGELES -- Three major wildfires raging across Los Angeles County, the most populous county of the United States, killed at least two people and forced tens of thousands of residents to be evacuated, the county's Fire Chief Anthony Marrone said Wednesday.

JERUSALEM -- The Israeli military announced on Wednesday that three of its soldiers were killed and an officer seriously injured during a raid in the northern Gaza Strip.
