KABUL, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed in a road crash in east Afghanistan's Ghazni province on Wednesday night, a local official said on Thursday.
The mishap occurred when a passenger vehicle collided with a truck on the outskirts of the province's Ab Band district, along the highway linking the capital Kabul with the southern Kandahar province, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported, quoting provincial police spokesman Khalid Sarhadi.
