JAKARTA, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia produced 830.96 million tons of coal in 2024, surpassing the previous year's production of 770.9 million tons, according to data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The sales of the commodity reached 811.01 million tons in 2024, with 433.17 million tons exported to various countries and 377.85 million tons sold in the domestic market. Of the total domestic sales, 209.93 million tons were allocated to meet the domestic market obligation.
