KUALA LUMPUR, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia, the world's second-largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil stocks falling 6.91 percent from the previous month to 1.71 million tons in December, official data from the country's industry regulator showed Friday.
The Malaysian Palm Oil Board said in a statement that crude palm oil production for the country also dropped 8.3 percent month-on-month to 1.49 million tons.
Meanwhile, Malaysia's palm oil exports declined by 9.97 percent month on month to 1.34 million tons.
The country's palm oil imports, on the other hand, surged to 37,917 tons. Enditem
