Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices rose on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for February delivery went up 2.54 U.S. dollars, or 3.28 percent, to settle at 80.04 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for March delivery increased 2.11 dollars, or 2.64 percent, to settle at 82.03 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. Enditem
