Uzbekistan exports plums worth 26.4 mln dollars over 11 months last year

TASHKENT, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan exported plums worth 26.4 mln U.S. dollars over 11 months last year, local media reported on Thursday, citing the country's statistics agency.

The country's statistics agency reported that from January to November 2024, Uzbekistan exported 32,900 tons of plums valued at 26.4 million dollars.

Russia became the biggest importer of Uzbek plums, accounting for 20,712 tons of the product.

Kazakhstan ranked second with an import volume of 10,522 tons, while Kyrgyzstan was the third, purchasing 1,486 tons of plums.

According to the agency earlier, Uzbekistan exported cherries worth 70.3 million U.S. dollars from January to November 2024, local media reported on Monday, citing the country's statistics agency. Enditem
