Singapore's key exports continue growth in December

SINGAPORE, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) grew by 9.0 percent year-on-year in December 2024, up from a 3.4 percent increase in November, according to data released by the government agency Enterprise Singapore on Friday.

Both electronic and non-electronic NODX grew.

Non-oil re-exports showed robust performance, surging 22.1 percent year-on-year in December, following a 14.0 percent rise in November. Growth in this segment was driven by increases in both electronic and non-electronic re-exports.

Singapore's total trade climbed 19.0 percent year-on-year in December, accelerating from the 4.9 percent growth recorded in November. Both exports and imports contributed to the overall increase. Enditem
