SEOUL, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- Seeking a warrant to detain the arrested South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol for up to 20 days seemed imminent, multiple media outlets said Friday.
Local media Newsis reported that the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) already sought the warrant, but other media outlets had yet to confirm it while expecting that the warrant request would be made later in the day.
Yoon was arrested in the presidential office and taken into custody Wednesday over his martial law imposition. Enditem
