YANGON, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar will hold Union-Level MSME product exhibitions and competitions in Nay Pyi Taw from Feb. 10 to 14, the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Saturday.

The event will feature some 80 booths, including displays from ministries, states and regions, as well as traditional ethnic foods, technology, and foreign machinery, the report said.

Awards will be given to 31 types of products, it added.

The exhibitions and competitions aim to continuously improve the products and services of MSME businesses, and promote value-added products for local and foreign markets, said the report.

The event also intends to enhance collaborative efforts among MSME businesses in regions and states, encourage relevant one region-one product businesses, and further create connections of MSME businesses with internal and external investors, according to the report. Enditem
