MADRID, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid were all kept apart in the draw for the quarterfinals of Spain's Copa del Rey knockout competition on Monday, while the last eight also contains a derby in the north of Spain as Real Sociedad hosts Osasuna.

La Liga struggler Valencia will host Super Cup winner FC Barcelona in the quarterfinals, which will be played from February 4 to 6.

Real Madrid makes the short trip to Leganes for its quarterfinal, and there is another derby in the Spanish capital when Atletico Madrid hosts Getafe.

The final two names out of the hat pit 2020 Copa del Rey winner Real Sociedad against 2023 runner-up Osasuna, after the team from Pamplona knocked holder Athletic Bilbao out in the previous round with an entertaining 3-2 away win.

The quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey are disputed over just one game, before the semifinals are played on a home and away basis, with the final to be played in Seville on April 26. Enditem
