KIEV, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- At least three people were killed in two separate Russian drone attacks on Kiev suburbs early Friday, said Ukraine's State Service for Emergencies.
Two were killed in the town of Brovary, about 20 km northeast of the capital, when debris from an intercepted drone fell onto their two-story private house, igniting a fire.
In the Fastiv district, southwest of Kiev, drone debris struck a 10-story apartment building, killing one man and injuring another.
The strike partially destroyed the 6th and 7th floors of the building, leading to the evacuation of 150 residents.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that air defense forces shot down 25 out of 58 drones launched by Russia from various directions. An additional 27 drones lost contact with radar. Enditem
