MADRID, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona once again made clear their dominance of the women's game as they cruised to a comfortable 5-0 win over Real Madrid in the final of the Women's Super Cup on Sunday.

Barcelona, who has a 100 percent record in Spain's Liga F, looked to control the match from the kick-off, and gave Madrid, currently second in Spain's domestic competition, a chance.

Barca had already missed a couple of chances before Norway's Caroline Graham-Hansen opened the scoring on the half-hour with a shot from outside the area that took a deflection to wrong-foot Misa Rodriguez in the Real Madrid goal.

Polish forward Ewa Pajor doubled Barca's lead in the 37th minute with a simple finish after full-back Ona Batlle ran to the goal line and pulled the ball back for her to score with a tap-in.

After Irene Paredes headed over from a corner in first-half injury time, Pajor headed in Barca's third of the game with the last action of the half. The striker got up to meet Graham-Hansen's corner to all-but ensure the win for Barcelona.

Patri Guijarro scored Barca's fourth with a powerful shot from distance in the 62nd minute, and only a flying save from Rodriguez soon afterward stopped Aitana Bonmati from adding a fifth.

Alexia Putellas fired wide when it looked easier to score in the 80th minute, but the Barcelona captain was not to be denied and made it 5-0 with a close-range header after Pajor's initial effort was blocked.

The win means Barca's women's team has now won four consecutive Super Cup titles. Enditem
