According to a price notification from the country's Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Friday night, a liter of octane now costs 126 taka, one taka higher than the previous rate.

The prices of diesel and kerosene have been increased to 105 taka per liter from 104 taka. Each liter of petrol now costs 122 taka, a rise of one taka, said the notification.
