MEXICO CITY, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Uruguayan winger Brian Rodriguez scored two second-half goals as Club America cruised to a 4-0 home win over Juarez in Mexico's Liga MX on Saturday.
Victor Davila broke the deadlock just before the half hour when his header rebounded in off the underside of the crossbar following Alex Zendejas' cross.
The host doubled its advantage through Erick Sanchez, who made a mazy run into the box before lashing a 16-yard drive into the far corner.
Rodriguez made it 3-0 by firing a first-time effort from a tight angle past goalkeeper Sebastian Jurado.
The former Los Angeles FC player completed the rout 10 minutes from time with a 15-yard shot that deflected into the far corner off Jurado's outstretched right leg.
America leads the 18-team standings with 13 points from five outings, six points ahead of eighth-placed Juarez.
In other Liga MX fixtures on Saturday, Guadalajara was held to a 1-1 home draw by Queretaro, Atlas drew 0-0 at Pachuca, Monterrey won 1-0 at Necaxa and Toluca prevailed 1-0 at home to Tigres UANL. Enditem
