JERUSALEM, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Chinese brands topped Israel's passenger car sales in January, with 12,246 units sold, according to data released by the Israel Vehicle Importers Association on Sunday.
According to the data, Chinese automakers dominated Israel's overall electric car sales in January, with BYD Auto selling the most, 1,945 units, in the period.
Xpeng, another Chinese manufacturer, ranked second, selling 901 electric cars.
According to the association, China was the largest car exporter to Israel in 2024, with 63,489 units sold, followed by South Korea and Japan. Enditem
