KABUL, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Two individuals identified as security disrupters were killed and three others were apprehended during conflicts with Afghan security forces in eastern Afghanistan's Parwan province, the provincial police office said in a statement on Tuesday.
The conflicts erupted on Monday night in the Jungal Bagh area, Charikar city, the capital of the province, said the statement, adding that the individuals were involved in subversive activities and launched a rocket attack on a governmental facility.
According to the statement, security forces found a rocket launcher, two Kalashnikovs, and five rocket projectiles.
The Afghan caretaker government has vowed to crack down on illegal armed rebels in the war-torn country. Enditem
