BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Deportivo Riestra climbed to second in Group B of Argentina's Primera Division Apertura standings on Tuesday with a 3-0 victory at Atletico Tucuman.
The visitors took the lead in the 39th minute through Nicolas Sansotre, who swept a powerful first-time effort into the top-left corner after Mario Sanabria's cutback.
Jonathan Herrera made it 2-0 in the 70th minute when he intercepted an errant backpass and coolly rounded goalkeeper Tomas Durso before completing the easiest of tap-ins.
Antony Alonso completed the rout by capitalizing on more lax defending as he blocked a rushed clearance from Durso, prompting the ball to rebound into an empty net.
The result leaves Deportivo Riestra with seven points from three games, two points behind group leaders Independiente. Atletico Tucuman is ninth in the 15-team group with three points so far. Enditem
