ROME, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Inter Milan suffered its second Serie A defeat of the season with a 3-0 setback away to Fiorentina in a rearranged match on Thursday.

The match was initially played last December, but was interrupted in the 17th minute when Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove collapsed on the pitch. He was then sent to the hospital and discharged days later.

The game resumed exactly where it had been suspended with the score at 0-0. Inter's Carlos Augusto had a goal ruled out for offside in the first half.

The home side broke the deadlock around the hour mark when a corner fell for Luca Ranieri to finish with a first-time strike that left Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer rooted to the ground.

Fiorentina doubled the lead minutes later when Dodo sent a cross for Moise Kean to steer in a powerful header.

Kean's second goal in the dying minutes sealed the win as he intercepted Federico Dimarco's wayward pass and slotted home.

Following the defeat, Inter remains second with 51 points, three points behind Napoli, while Fiorentina leapfrogs Juventus and Lazio into fourth place. Enditem
