JAKARTA -- Indonesia welcomed 13.9 million foreign tourists in 2024, marking a significant increase from the 11.68 million visitors recorded in 2023, the Ministry of Tourism announced in a press release on Saturday.

NEW DELHI -- India's main ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday won the Delhi Assembly elections held on Feb. 5, defeating the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which had been ruling the Indian capital for nearly 12 years.

TOKYO -- A fire broke out early Saturday morning in a two-story wooden apartment building in Japan's Osaka, leaving two people dead, local media reported.
