AL-HOL -- A total of 569 people from 155 Iraqi families left the al-Hol refugee camp in northeastern Syria on Sunday, in the latest repatriation effort coordinated between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Iraqi government.
The departure marks the 21st of its kind since Iraq and the SDF began facilitating the departure of displaced Iraqi families from the camp, which houses thousands of refugees and former affiliates of the Islamic State (IS) group. (Syria-Iraq-Repatriation)

NEW DELHI -- Chief Minister of India's Manipur N. Biren Singh resigned on Sunday, almost two years after deadly ethnic violence broke out in the northeastern state.
Singh, a member of India's main ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, tendered his resignation to the governor of Manipur.

PARIS -- French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Sunday night that France is set to receive a total investment of 109 billion euros (113 billion U.S. dollars) in artificial intelligence (AI) in the coming years.
