SINGAPORE, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Three people, including a six-year-old boy, were hospitalized after a car crashed into a taxi stand outside a shopping mall in eastern Singapore on Monday morning, police said.
The accident occurred at around 7:50 a.m. (2350 GMT Sunday) when a white car suddenly drove into the taxi stand in Serangoon Central, colliding with a stationary taxi and striking three pedestrians including a 42-year-old woman, her son, and a 48-year-old woman.
The taxi driver, a 59-year-old man, sustained minor injuries but declined hospitalization, according to police.
The 34-year-old driver of the car is assisting authorities with investigations. Enditem
