WARSAW, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- The 29-year-old Polish winger Przemyslaw Frankowski joined Galatasaray on loan from RC Lens, the Turkish club announced on Tuesday.

Frankowski will play in Galatasaray until the end of the season with an option to buy.

"A temporary transfer fee is one million euros net. In addition, the player's conditional purchase option fee is 7 million euros. If the conditional purchase option is used, the player's contract will be valid until the end of the 2027/2028 season," the Turkish club said.

"I'm really happy. It's a very special thing to play for one of the greatest clubs in the world. I'm especially looking forward to the matches we will play at home and the first training session with the team," Frankowski said after signing the contract.

"I've heard very good things about our fans and the stadium. I'm really happy to join this big family. Our fans are crazy, of course in a positive way," the Pole added.

Frankowski has been playing in RC Lens since 2021. In 141 matches he delivered 20 goals and 14 assists. Enditem
