SEOUL -- South Korea's constitutional court on Tuesday held the seventh hearing of impeachment trial on President Yoon Suk-yeol, with the arrested president being present for the fifth time.
Yoon, dressed in a suit and red necktie as before, presented himself at the courtroom in central Seoul at around 10:00 a.m. local time (0100 GMT). (South Korea-Impeachment Trial)

KABUL -- At least five people were killed and seven others injured as a suicide bomber blew himself up in northern Afghanistan's Kunduz province on Tuesday morning, provincial police spokesman Jumadin Khaksar said.
"A suicide bomber blew himself up in front of the Kabul Bank in Kunduz city, the provincial capital, leading to the deaths of five individuals, including bank guards and civilians, while seven others sustained injuries," Khaksar said. (Afghanistan-Blast-Dead)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on Tuesday expressed his aspiration to see the South China Sea a sea of peace, stability, cooperation and prosperity, the country's foreign ministry said in a press release.

SUVA -- Jotham Napat, president of the Leaders Party of Vanuatu, was elected the country's new prime minister on Tuesday, Vanuatu Broadcasting and Television Corporation (VBTC) reported.

SEOUL -- South Korea's trade minister on Tuesday expressed concern about U.S. President Donald Trump's 25-percent tariffs on steel and aluminum imports scheduled to take effect on March 12.
Trade Minister Cheong In-kyo said in a meeting with local businessmen of steelmakers and other exporters that the tariffs were worried to relatively cut the U.S. steel prices and reduce South Korea's steel exports to the United States. (South Korea-U.S. Tariffs) Enditem
