BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Veteran manager Ricardo Zielinski has reached an agreement to take charge of Belgrano for a second time, the Argentine top-flight club said on Tuesday.
Zielinski replaces Walter Erviti, who was sacked on Saturday following a poor start to the season.
"Ricardo is already in Cordoba and tomorrow he will conduct his first training session," read a statement on Belgrano's official website.
The 65-year-old will be joined by assistants Emanuel Depaoli and Luciano Guinazu as well as fitness coach Alfonso Meoni, it added.
Zielinski has been out of work since parting ways with Lanus in December.
During his first spell in charge of Belgrano - from 2011 to 2016 - he helped to consolidate the club's place in Argentina's top flight with 78 wins, 74 draws and 60 losses.
Erviti had held the job for only four games, overseeing two draws and two losses following his January appointment.
Belgrano is currently 13th in the Primera Division's 15-team Group A standings.
Zielinski's first match in charge will be an away clash against local rivals Central Cordoba on Saturday. Enditem
