MADRID, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Wednesday's draw for the semifinals of the Spanish Copa del Rey opened the door for another possible 'Classico' between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in the final or a Madrid derby between Real and Atletico Madrid.

The semifinal, which is played on a home and away basis, pitted Barca against Atletico Madrid, with the first leg to be played in Barcelona in the week of February 26, while Real Sociedad face Real Madrid, with the return leg in Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Atletico Madrid has already won in Barcelona once this season, taking advantage of Barca's dip in form in La Liga to win 2-1 in Montjuic just before Christmas with an injury-time winner from Alexander Sorloth.

The two sides are due to meet again in La Liga in Atletico's Metropolitano Stadium on March 16, meaning they will play three times in just over a month.

Real Madrid won their La Liga visit to San Sebastian, beating Real Sociedad 2-0 in September with penalties scored by Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe. Enditem
