MOSCOW -- Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with local media on Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump "agreed quite quickly to coordinate and hold a working meeting somewhere in a third country."

However, the final place of the working meeting has not been decided, he said, stressing that the meeting will happen prior to the exchange of visits of the two heads of state. (Russia-US-Meeting)

WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday signed a memorandum directing his administration to determine "the equivalent of a reciprocal tariff with respect to each foreign trading partner."

"I have decided for purposes of fairness, that I will charge a reciprocal tariff -- meaning whatever countries charge the United States of America, we will charge them no more, no less. SAN FRANCISCO -- In a recent court filing, lawyers for Elon Musk said Musk will withdraw his 97.4 billion U.S. dollars bid for OpenAI's nonprofit if its board of directors preserves the charity's mission and stop the company's conversion to a for-profit.

"Should ... the charity's assets proceed to sale, a Musk-led consortium has submitted a serious offer ... that would go to the charity in furtherance of its mission," the filing wrote, adding that if OpenAI's board "is prepared to preserve the charity's mission and stipulate to take the for sale sign off its assets by halting its conversion, Musk will withdraw the bid." JERUSALEM -- Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Thursday night, with Israel's military claiming the attacks were aimed at Hezbollah targets, despite a ceasefire between the two countries.

Lebanon's TV channel LBCI reported that the warplanes targeted localities near the Litani River, including the towns of Yohmor al-Shaqif and Zoutr al-Sharqiya, in addition to the municipalities of Deir Siryan, Zibqin and Yater. (Israel-Lebanon-Attacks) Enditem
