WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- The plane carrying U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich, Germany, experienced a mechanical issue and returned to Joint Base Andrews on Thursday, a State Department spokesperson was quoted by ABC network as saying.
Rubio will continue his trip to Germany and the Middle East on a separate aircraft, the spokesperson added.
An official told The Associated Press that an issue related to the cockpit windshield of the C-32, a modified Boeing 757, occurred about 90 minutes after takeoff. Enditem
