NEW DELHI, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves increased by 7.654 billion U.S. dollars to 638.261 billion dollars during the week ended Feb. 7, official data released by the country's central bank the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) showed on Friday.
This was the third consecutive week when India's forex reserves rose, after declining for several weeks in a row.
During the week, the foreign currency assets increased by 6.422 billion dollars to 544.106 billion dollars, while the gold reserves rose by 1.315 billion dollars to 72.208 billion dollars. Enditem
