MIES, Switzerland, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Top seven teams remained in their positions in the latest FIBA World Ranking Women, which was released on Friday, with the United States still topping the world women's basketball.
Australia and France followed the U.S. on the second and third placings, while China, Spain, Belgium, Canada, Serbia, Japan, and Brazil were ranked 4th-10th in sequence.
Nigeria was pushed down outside the top 10 to 11th placing, and the Czech Republic, Montenegro, and Britain vaulted into the top 20 in the new rankings.
The Czech Republic rose to 18th with wins over Greece and Italy at the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, while Montenegro moved up three places to 19th and Britain climbed to 20th with wins over Estonia and Denmark in the tournament. Enditem
