MANILA -- The mayor of Quezon City, the most populous city in the capital region of the Philippines, declared a dengue outbreak on Saturday, citing a nearly 200 percent surge in cases.

ISLAMABAD -- Four soldiers and 15 terrorists were killed in separate operations in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, the military said on Saturday.

YANGON -- Authorities arrested 29 suspects in eastern Myanmar's Tachileik township for illegal online gambling and financial fraud on Feb. 12 and Feb. 13, according to a statement from the State Administration Council's Information Team late Friday.
The group included seven Thai nationals and 22 Myanmar nationals. Along with the suspects, officials seized 440 computers, 390 mobile phones, two undocumented vehicles, and drug-related items, the statement said. (Myanmar-Fraud-Arrest)

MAIMANA, Afghanistan -- Fifteen commuters were injured with some in critical condition as a mini-bus turned turtle in northern Afghanistan's Faryab province on Friday night, a statement of provincial police said Saturday.
