TOKYO, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- A Japanese fishing boat carrying five people capsized off Japan's northernmost main island of Hokkaido on Sunday, leaving two crew members missing, local media reported.
According to the Japan Coast Guard's Rumoi office, at around 4 p.m. local time, the Kitarumoi Fishery Cooperative Association reported to the fire department that a fishing boat had capsized off the coast of Tomamae Town in Hokkaido, public broadcaster NHK said.
The boat was carrying five people in their 20s to 50s, and three of them, including the captain, were rescued by a nearby boat, but two crew members, aged 29 and 48, are still missing, the report said.
The Japan Coast Guard's patrol boats and others are searching for the missing crew, it added. Enditem
