JAKARTA, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- The Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI) has set its sights on gold at the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 1000 All England 2025 in Birmingham, United Kingdom, an official announced on Tuesday.

Head of PBSI's Development and Achievement Division, Eng Hian, emphasized Indonesia's strong track record in the prestigious tournament, having secured at least one title in each of the past three editions.

The All England 2025, scheduled for March 11-16 at Utilita Arena, is one of four BWF World Tour Super 1000 events, making it a key priority for Indonesia's national team.

"With the level of competition in this tournament, it's only natural for us to aim for gold. I hope our players can deliver consistent and high-level performances throughout the European tour," Eng Hian said.

Indonesia has maintained a perfect record at the All England, claiming one title in both 2022 and 2023, before capturing two golds in 2024. To build on this success, PBSI has prepared a squad of 15 top athletes for the upcoming competition.

"We will give our best effort to continue our tradition of excellence and bring home more titles," he added. Enditem
