THE HAGUE, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- PSV Eindhoven secured a dramatic 3-1 extra-time victory over Juventus on Wednesday, overturning a one-goal deficit from the first leg to advance to the UEFA Champions League last 16 with a 4-3 aggregate win.

After a goalless first half in which both sides struggled to create clear-cut chances, the reigning Dutch champions dominated the second period. Left winger Noa Lang weaved through two Juventus defenders and delivered a pinpoint pass to Ivan Perisic, who slotted past goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio to give PSV the lead in the 53rd minute.

Timothy Weah equalized for Juventus in the 63rd minute, but PSV regained the advantage 11 minutes later when Ismael Saibari finished from close range. The aggregate score was tied at 3-3, pushing the match into extra time.

In the 98th minute, PSV's Ryan Flamingo capitalized on a mix-up between Juventus defender Federico Gatti and Di Gregorio, finishing from a cross by substitute Johan Bakayoko to give the hosts a crucial lead. Juventus came close to leveling when substitute Dusan Vlahovic hit the post, but PSV held on to secure their place in the next round.

PSV's advancement follows Feyenoord's 2-1 aggregate victory over AC Milan, ensuring that two Dutch teams progress to the Champions League last 16. Enditem
