TEHRAN, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- The 3rd Eurasia Expo opened in Iran's capital Tehran on Friday, featuring over 100 Iranian firms alongside companies and trade groups from Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus, state news agency IRNA reported.
The exhibition, running through Monday, spans 12,000 square meters and allows participants to showcase their latest products and services, according to IRNA.
Mohammad-Ali Dehghan Dehnavi, head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization, told IRIB news agency on Thursday the event aims to draw traders from Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) states and highlight Iranian producers' capabilities to boost exports.
IRIB said Iranian exhibitors include companies in various sectors, including petrochemicals, oil, gas, steel, food, cosmetics, personal care, automotive, and spare parts.
President Masoud Pezeshkian also toured the expo with officials and called it an "important opportunity" to grow trade ties with EAEU nations, IRNA reported. Enditem
